Funding scholarships for excellence
École normale supérieure currently recruits around 15 students a year in computer science and artificial intelligence who, once they graduate, are among the best in Europe. École normale supérieure’s training is recognized as one of the most advanced and sought-after in all professions linked to data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Large companies, whether in the industrial, technology or service sectors, have a huge and urgent need for computer scientists trained in data sciences at different levels and for different professions. Young French startups also need these skills and face competition from large corporations without having the same resources to allocate in terms of recruitment.
It is therefore essential for the École Normale, which is a major and fundamental player in this transformation, and which today offers the best training in computer science and artificial intelligence in France, to train more students both for research and to meet the skills needs of the economic and industrial sectors.
Goal:
ENS aims to increase student recruitment to 30 students per year in computer science (a number that will enable ENS to continue to deliver the individualized training of excellence that is its hallmark). To be competitive with other European and American universities, and attract the best candidates, it wishes to support this recruitment with this scholarship.
Your donations go towards:
- 45 k€ will fund one student over the course three years
- 225 k€ will fund 5 scholarships over 3 years
