ENS Campus Renovation
The Ulm-Jourdan library
The history, foreign literature, ancient languages and literature rooms in the Ulm-Jourdan library are in need of renovation, which has been given a new unity and coherence. This results in a pleasant, functional working environment that respects the history of the building and its collections, essential for studying and working.
Goal:
The renovation will provide an opportunity to optimize available space and increase shelving capacity, with direct access to books remaining a strong point appreciated by our community.
A budget of 2 million euros is required.
Your donations go towards:
- part of the renovation work on the Salle des Actes. Under the bust of Fustel de Coulanges, and adorned with marble plaques bearing the names of Archicube academics, the Salle des Actes is an emblematic place of ENS.
- renovation of the interior and exterior of the historic rue d’Ulm building
- the purchase of a concert piano…
